Day 40 - Pitching Idea
What I Learned
Today we had an workshop session in the morning where we learned how to make research paper in overleaf. In this session, we learned to link pages, make references and created an introduction part of our team. During the session, Dr. Mack also taught about the event we have for August 1. All the team will be heading to WonderFly for fun activities. After the session, we all came back to lab. Abiola had given us task for paper writing. I did some research on it. I also started writing my part of the paper i.e. Predictive model and methodolgy. Then we also had a small brief meeting where we discussed about the pitching video and researcj paper.
Blockers
It was a bit confusing to use overleaf in the beginnig but I got used to it.
Reflection
Today’s workshop was insightful as we learned how to use Overleaf for research paper writing. We covered useful features like linking pages, adding references, and began drafting our team’s introduction section. Dr. Mack also informed us about the upcoming WonderFly event on August 1, which added a fun element to look forward to. Back in the lab, I focused on the research paper task assigned by Abiola, specifically working on the predictive model and methodology sections. Although Overleaf felt confusing at first, I quickly adapted to it. We also had a brief team meeting to align on the pitching video and paper progress.
